Classical Assassins at The Red Hedgehog - March 2007

Following last years Radio 4 presentation of Jonathan Lennie’s Classical Assassins, the entire series of five monologues are to be presented in a single programme at The Red Hedgehog, Highgate for three weeks in March.

Classical Assassins is a series of five short monologues describing largely unknown individuals whose impact on the lives of five disparate classical composers proved catastrophic.

This is the first time that they have been presented on stage in their entirety.

joinedupwriters have previously presented two of the monologues in separate showcases at The Old Red Lion, Islington to sell-out audiences. All five were also broadcast as a series on Radio 4 in October 2006.

Performances run Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday of each week from 15th March (Press Night) until 1st April at 8pm each night with Sunday matinees at 3.30pm in addition to the evening show.

Tickets are available from The RedHedgehog Boc Office on 0208 348 5050 at £12 (Standard Tickets) or £10 (Green Travel Ticket – see The Red Hedgehog)

Pre-bookings are already healthy due to the show’s recent radio and stage success, so we recommend you book early.

The Red Hedgehog: 255/257 Archway Road, Highgate, London, N6 5BS. Directly opposite The Boogaloo Pub. 100 yards from Highgate Tube Station. Buses 43, 134, 263. Parking is (notionally) available at Highgate Station. The theatre is wheelchair accessible.
