Gina is Scott’s ideal woman. He loves to write her letters. Her brother, his ex-best friend disapproves. Scott
is patient, he has time and so will write his letters and one day they will all see things his way.
Deborah is a published novelist and her novel ‘My Self, The Enemy’ has received great acclaim. She has also had shorter works published in American publication Suspect Thoughts. This is Deborah’s playwright debut and first piece for the joinedupwriters company.
Quan Shih Yin Hesitates by Alan McNaboe
Over one critical day in a disintegrating marriage, Re and Dal dissect their life together with increasingly brutal honesty. An intimate rollercoaster of cruelty, boredom, panic and mercy.
Alan is a founder member of joinedupwriters and has written a number of feature length plays set in Dublin and London. His work has been staged at Stratford East and previous joinedupwriters events.

Sex, Art and Commerce, which is the dirtiest business? F***Art is a provocative exploration of the psychological and symbiotic relationship between all three, combining juvenile behavior and intellectual commentary to dramatic and hilarious effect.
Adult only performance due to full frontal nudity and foul language.
Mark is a founder member of joinedupwriters and has had work performed at The Riverside Studios, The Arcola Theatre, Jermyn Street Theatre and previous joinedupwriters events. He is currently developing the book for a musical for Jermyn Street Theatre and has been in discussion with BBC Radio.
Two more showcase events will follow in May and June, details to be announced, and the Spring Festival will culminate in July with the full production of ‘Perfection’ by Mark Lindow. This piece was selected by Helen Devine, Artistic Director of the theatre, and will be a joint production between joinedupwriters and the Old Red Lion Theatre.
